Combined punching and shearing machines are essential equipment in metalworking. These machines have integrated functions such as punching, shearing, and bending, making them ideal for industries like metallurgy, bridge construction, communications, power generation, and military engineering. Their ease of operation, low energy consumption, and minimal maintenance have made them increasingly popular.

   

Mechanical vs. Hydraulic Machines

There are two main types of combined punching and shearing machines: mechanical and hydraulic. Mechanical machines are built with a welded structure of cast steel and steel plates, offering strength and rigidity. They typically operate at 25-40 strokes per minute and are suitable for punching 16-40 mm and shearing plates 8-20 mm thick.

Hydraulic machines use a hydraulic transmission system that reduces noise and vibration, ensuring smoother operation. These machines operate at pressures from 630 to 1250 kN and can handle pressures up to 31.5 MPa. The hydraulic system provides consistent power output, and the oil temperature rise is kept under 45°C, ensuring stability.

Core Parameters & Structural Features

For example, the Q35-16 mechanical model provides a punching force of 630 kN, can shear plates up to 16 mm thick, and punch holes up to 28 mm in diameter, using a 5.5 kW motor. The QA34-25 model offers a higher punching force of 1100 kN, handles 25 mm thick plates, and can punch holes up to 35 mm in diameter with an 11 kW motor.

Hydraulic models, such as the Q35Y-16, feature a 7.5 kW motor and a system pressure of 25 MPa, capable of punching plates up to 16 mm thick and shearing round steel, square steel, and angle steel. The Q35Y-25 model increases the capacity for punching and shearing, handling thicker plates and larger steel sizes.

Control System & Features

The QA35Y-30 hydraulic punching and shearing machine features a PLC control system with a 10.4-inch touchscreen for real-time monitoring and precise adjustments. It includes self-diagnosis capabilities, alerting operators when critical parameters exceed safe limits. The machine also offers a quick die change system, enabling mold changes in under five minutes. High-end models can store up to 99 processing programs for quick recall during mass production, with automatic feeders offering a feed speed of 2000 mm/min and positioning accuracy of ±0.1 mm.
